Weddings are a fun time for everyone involved, especially for the bride and groom. Once the proposal is accepted, it’s a whirlwind of chaos, cheer and celebration. Particularly for the bride, the pre-wedding shower(s) and bachelorette party are a break from this premarital pandemonium where she can really relax and be with loved ones who want to honor her in a more intimate setting.
These customary events are rooted in history and something to look forward to before the big day. We often showcase bridal product favorites, and much of the trends vary only slightly from year to year. We’ve shared with you a list of favorite bachelorette party ideas according to The Knot as well as what we think are some great theme ideas for bridal showers. But we don’t have nearly enough pages to showcase all the incredible décor, accessories and other miscellaneous items that are offered. So, in addition to these product picks, we thought it would be informative to share some top cities for destination bachelorette parties in hopes that this list will inspire what type of product and apparel you can carry, and, if you’re located in one of these cities, knowing having some common bachelorette party accouterment on-hand might be a good idea.
Looking to reputable companies you may not have thought of before can provide some variety in styles for bridal shower and bachelorette party ideas. Mud Pie’s adjustable canvas sash is a different take on the traditional satin version, and heart-shaped suckers like those offered by Spangler Candy can be a cute party favor idea. “Wearables are the most popular,” said Warren Berkowitz with Forum Novelties, when asked what’s trending in bachelorette. He also noted that the company’s orders are coming in year-round, but substantially increase between March and July. Forum offers wearables like its white and pink Bride baseball cap, and various verbiage like “squad,” “entourage,” “bride tribe” and “bride’s babe” will surely sell. Additionally, companies like AMSCAN offer items for extra bling, and photo prop kits for bachelorette selfies with the bride-to-be and her squad members. These products all take up very little shelf space and can be a real life-saver for traveling bridal parties.
