25th International HCPShow Celebrates Quarter Century Of Best Costumes

TransWorld has confirmed that the 2009 Fantasy Fashion Show, to be held at the 25th International Halloween, Costume & Party Show (HCPShow), will take place on Friday, March 6, immediately following the close of the show at 5:30 p.m. The HCPShow will be held March 6 - 9, 2009, at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas.

The Fantasy Fashion Show is part of the show's opening night celebration featuring the most dramatic costumes and accessories from the industry's leading vendors. The deadline for entries is December 12.

"Over 150 costumes took the runway at the 2008 Fantasy Fashion Show," said Joe Thaler, chairman and chief executive officer of TransWorld Exhibits, Inc., owner of the show. "There were costumes from every category ranging from fairytale characters to superheroes, from vampires to sexy cheerleaders and from Renaissance wear to the latest releases of licensed costumes. It was an incredible, colorful and exciting presentation."

"Based on current exhibitor participation, the 2009 Fantasy Fashion Show expects to present over 175 costumes from more than 75 leading vendors," Thaler continued. "And as part of our 25th anniversary celebration, TransWorld is excited to announce that there will be a special presentation providing a retrospective of the best costumes over the past quarter century."

The HCPShow is the industry's top order-writing show and is attended by 10,000 each year. Highlights include new product introductions from over 700 vendors, seminar programming, special events and networking functions.
