Halloween spending expected to reach $9 billion again

Once again, Americans are looking forward to splurging on their favorite candy, costumes and decorations during the Halloween season. According to the National Retail Federation’s annual survey conducted by Prosper Insights & Analytics, total spending for Halloween is expected to reach $9 billion, the second highest in the survey’s 14-year history. Halloween spending also on the rise in the UK

Halloween spending isn’t just on the rise in the U.S., it’s also increasing in the U.K. Recent research by Mintel estimates spending in the U.K. will reach approximately £320 million, reported Progressive Party Europe.
