Retail jobs decline during October; retail federation cites hurricanes

Retail industry employment declined by 18,000 jobs in October, the National Retail Federation reported. The number excludes automobile dealers, gasoline stations and restaurants. Retail jobs exceed growth expectations during June

Retail industry employment turned a corner in June, gaining 7,400 jobs over May, the National Retail Federation reported. The retail numbers exclude automobile dealers, gasoline stations and restaurants.
